A clear, well-lit photo works best. Front-facing shots with your face unobstructed give the strongest results. Avoid heavily filtered photos, extreme angles, or images where the face is partially covered. The better your input photo, the better your portrait.

We accept all major credit and debit cards via Stripe. Your payment information is handled entirely by Stripe and is never stored on our servers.
Absolutely. Once your portrait is ready, Alter8 connects you to a full range of premium merchandise including canvas and other high end wall art — all fulfilled and shipped directly to your door.
Due to the custom nature of transformed portraits, all sales are final for digital items. If you experience an issue with your physical order, contact us at hello@usealter8.com and we will offer (1) free replacement if you are unhappy with your product. If damaged during transit, we will replace the item free of charge after review of the submitted proof.
Yes. Group photos work best when all faces are clearly visible and well lit. For the strongest result, use a photo where the subjects are close together and facing the camera. Best results are achieved with 1-4 people. Larger groups may have reduced detail.
